THROWBACKS: Gravediggaz - Diary Of A Madman

"Diary of a Madman" was the lead single released from the Gravediggaz' debut album, "6 Feet Deep". The song was produced by members RZA (The Rzarector) and Prince Paul (The Undertaker) along with RNS and featured verses from Killah Priest and Scientific Shabazz.

WEED-KEND: Eazy-E & MC Ren - Tha Muthaphukkin Real

A good song for smoke some buds. It's from "Str8 off tha Streetz of Muthaphukkin Compton" (Straight off the Streets of Muthafuckin' Compton), Eazy-E's second and final full-length album. It was released posthumously on November 24, 1995, eight months after Eazy-E's death. Enjoy

Jahzel - Carefree

Evan Holt & Thelonious Martin - Ready For The Day

After taking an extended break from releasing projects, Evan Holt is back putting in that work. Earlier this month, he broke the hiatus with the release of a new EP, "Where Was Eye", and now he’s already releasing the first single off his next release. Next up will be "The Temptations", a new project entirely produced by Thelonious Martin. Listen to the lead single.

Ghettosocks' "Everyday Apocalypse" b/w "I'll Be Your Dog" is the latest addition to its ever-expanding catalogue of vinyl releases. This translucent 7", produced by dynamic duo The Process (Jonny Cuba and Ollie Teeba (Soundsci/The Herbaliser), is bound to be another BA sure shot. Rome Clientel - Guts & Glory f. Scott Mayo (Prod. Damien Cornwell)

Elmira emcee and Golden Era recording artist Rome Clientel has taken a bit of a sabbatical following the release of The Empire 2: The Battlegrounds EP. As he continues to work on The Empire 3: The Coronation EP, the third one of the series, Rome is embarking on #TheConquest, a campaign of singles to demonstrate what he has in store moving forward. 

The first release from #TheConquest is "Guts And Glory," a mellow offering produced by Damien Cornwell. Adding to the smooth beat is the live saxophone playing of Scott Mayo, known for being a member of the band for American Idol. Mayo has worked with other legendary artists including Sergio Mendes and Earth Wind and Fire.
